In 2015, I made a conscious decision to take my training pursuits to a more serious level. This led me to embark on an internship journey under the guidance of local dog trainers, and I've also actively participated in a multitude of hands-on workshops over the years. Eventually, I took the significant step of enrolling in the CATCH Canine Training's Master Class.

Since 2013, I've been involved in the animal world, with a background in veterinary medicine and dog grooming. My journey has always revolved around those "difficult" dogs. In 2019, a pivotal moment occurred when I welcomed my first Rottweiler into my life. This remarkable dog emphasized the importance of truly comprehending your canine companion from the inside out. This experience ignited a passion in me, leading me to pursue a career in dog training, and I've been dedicated to it ever since.
I have a special affinity for working and herding dog breeds, as I find them to be some of the most enjoyable to work with. Witnessing my clients and their furry friends achieve success through the right tools, knowledge, and education fills me with immense satisfaction.

I'm Dana, a professional trainer and a dedicated enthusiast of bird dogs and all things related to dogs.
In a story that's been told time and again, my journey into professional training began when my second cocker spaniel, Charlie, didn't exhibit the same level of obedience as his older brother.
To gain insights, I delved into books, videos, and online courses, seeking to understand as much as I could about dog behavior. Subsequently, I sought the expertise of professional trainers to address Charlie's reactivity and separation anxiety, a decision I'm grateful for. This experience not only allowed me to assist him and strengthen our bond but also marked the beginning of my mission to aid others in their canine journeys.
I have previously worked at a board and train facility, where I had the privilege of assisting over 300 dogs dealing with various behavioral challenges. My unique perspective, stemming from my experiences with Charlie, enables me to connect not only with dogs but also with their owners.
I firmly believe that there's nothing more rewarding than helping owners comprehend and communicate effectively with their dogs. That's why I'm deeply passionate about what I do!

My sweet rescue dogs Diego started showing issues when people spooked him with loud sudden or quick movements. Ross was able to re-create a situation to get the behavior of real concern from Diego. He gracefully taught my dog not to be afraid. Diego now has confidence when he meets new people and hasn’t behaved defensively towards a person since. He’s helped Diego with great success learn his commands. As a spiritual person I would describe Ross as gifted healer. From a clinical perspective he’s a therapist for dogs. "You couldn’t find a better dog obedience trainer. I believe that the key to successful obedience is more about training the owner than the puppy/dog. My puppy obeys him without need for very much correcting, or no correction at all. He is patient in training me. No problems. I would give him an unqualified thumbs up!!
Cocoa and I enjoyed our training with Ross. So very patient with the real one who needs training, which was mainly me. Cocoa learned quickly and I was a bit slower. I highly recommend him!!"
